Alkaline Water Machines

Kangen Water machines use electrolysis to separate tap water into acidic and alkaline water using platinum-coated titanium plates. These machines can produce water with a pH level ranging from 2.5 (very acidic) for sanitizing surfaces to 11.5 (highly alkaline) for consumption. Kangen water produced can have a negative ORP down to -800 mV, which proponents believe acts as an antioxidant.

While not all models have them, some Kangen machines incorporate filtration systems to remove chlorine, taste, and odor from tap water before electrolysis. Kangen Water machines range in price from around £2,000 to over £5,000 depending on the model and features. The speed of producing Kangen water varies by machine, with some models filling a 2-liter jug in 3-5 minutes.

The lifespan of the platinum-coated titanium plates can vary depending on water quality and usage, but typically requires cleaning every 1,500 to 3,000 hours. Power usage varies by model, but some Kangen machines can use between 200-300 watts per hour during operation.

A water ionizer is the best way to produce healthy alkaline water in your home, they work simply with electrode plates that change the charge of chemicals, our goal is to improve health and wellbeing by guiding the way to producing alkaline ionized water at home.

While the act of boiling itself does not transform the fundamental properties of alkaline water, it serves as an additional layer of purification, ensuring its safety for consumption. Boiling alkaline water does not compromise its pH stability.

If you boil ionized water or ice it you'll get a reduced pH, but you will still be drinking alkaline water but it does reduce the pH if you boil it, limit the boiling of ionized water and don't boil it too long or double boil it.

Start by boiling a pot of alkaline water, once it has reached a rolling boil, let it cool for about two minutes as this will allow the water to reach the perfect temperature for brewing tea; next, choose your favourite type of tea and add the preferred amount of leaves or bags to the pot.

Drinking enough alkaline water to alter your pH could potentially alter your gastrointestinal pH, which could affect your blood pH and increase the risk for metabolic alkalosis. Metabolic alkalosis is a condition that occurs when your blood becomes overly alkaline. Symptoms of this condition include diarrhea.

Alkaline drinking water is considered safe, no evidence demonstrates negative side effects although alkaline water has a different pH than regular water. Drinking alkaline mineral water has the potential to be therapeutic in gastrointestinal disorders, particularly diarrhea.

Alkaline water promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract. As the beneficial bacteria proliferate the GI tract, inflammation in the intestines begins to decrease and digestive symptoms like flatulence, constipation, and diarrhea begin to ease.

Commercially available alkaline water has negligible alkali content and provides no added benefit over tap water for patients with uric acid, gout and cystine urolithiasis.

Among the five types of water produced by a Kangen Water machine, the two types for drinking (purified water/Kangen Water) must be used fresh, keep these two types of water in the refrigerator for no more than 4 to 5 days and replace the water in your drinking bottle everyday.

Kangen water machines remove 99.99% of chlorine, as well as bacteria, odour, lead, rust and other harmful contaminants. Kangen water machines do not remove the many minerals that are lost in the process of purifying bottled water, reverse osmosis, or distilled.

Kangen water machines use a special semi-permeable membrane to filter out all the nasty contaminants on a micron level, turning your tap water into the purest water possible. That includes fluoride and other toxic chemical byproducts that Kangen water machines can filter out.
